I visited Montreal a summer ago and fell in love. I found a "perfect" place to stay...a walk-down renovated apartment designed beautifully and in a modern style. There was a exposed stone wall in the living space, clean-lined bath and kitchen and the bedroom opened onto a private courtyard with a hot tub and a wonderful stone statue of a woman from long ago. Jim and I walked to a neighborhood full of vintage shops where I found the most wonderful clothing shop. Elegant and friendly. That's what I loved about Montreal....very friendly. We had dinner at Joe Beef and it was an amazing experience. My avatar on my Etsy banner is a nude mannequin from one of the great shop windows in Montreal.
You can't move to Montreal unless you allow me to live in the coach house or on the couch.
